Update: Event Canceled (March 10, 2020)
Dear Dunn Community,
In an effort to be proactive and protect the health and well-being of all members of the Dunn community, we are canceling the in-person community events for this weekend, including all Spring Family Weekend conferences and activities, the Dunn Auction & Gala, and the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. While we are disappointed to take this step, we believe it is prudent given the continued spread of COVID-19.
The public health guidance we have received continues to emphasize not only good personal hygiene practices but also social distancing. Our decision to cancel all three large public events this weekend is a direct result of that guidance. We are working to develop alternatives, both for teacher-parent conferences and communication and Dunn’s annual auction. We will communicate our plans for both over the next several days.
As the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation evolves, the well-being of our community is our priority. We understand that these cancelations cause measurable disruption, but we believe the risk of holding public events in our community outweighs the inconvenience of these measures. We strongly encourage all of our students, faculty, and staff to avoid large public gatherings and exercise caution when traveling off-campus.
At this time, regular instruction and programming have not changed. Classes will continue as planned, and outdoor education trips will depart as scheduled. Please refer to our communication yesterday for more information about programming and the steps that we are taking as a community to ensure the health and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff.
Thank you for your cooperation and collaboration as we balance the integrity of our program with prudence regarding the safety of the Dunn School community.

an assortment of culinary creations, and silent and live auctions.
Proceeds from this event support financial aid for students that would otherwise be unable to afford a Dunn School education, and also help fund our incredible academic, athletic, and arts programs.
